Players To Pick

Matz Sels (Nottingham Forest)

Matz Sels (5.0m) has earned four clean sheets in his last five games, conceding just the one goal against league leaders Liverpool. Nottingham Forest have been solid in defence this season, making Sels a better pick than most premium goalkeepers.

Alex Iwobi (Fulham)

Alex Iwobi (5.9m) notched a double-digit point haul against West Ham last Gameweek with two goals. All three of Iwobi’s double-digit point hauls have been away from home this season. Fulham now visit a Leicester side struggling at the wrong end of the table.

Phil Foden (Manchester City)

Phil Foden (9.2m) earned 15 points against Brentford last Gameweek with two goals. Foden now has three goals and an assist in his last three games. Manchester City face Ipswich who lost their last game at home to Brighton.

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa)

Ollie Watkins (8.9m) returned a goal against Everton last Gameweek and played 90 minutes despite Jhon Durán (5.8m) returning from suspension. After a tough game against Arsenal, Aston Villa’s next three rank two on the Fixture Difficulty Rating.

Differentials

Lucas Paquetá (West Ham United)

Since the arrival of Graham Potter at West Ham Lucas Paquetá (5.7m) has scored in both games. The Brazilian has scored against Aston Villa in the FA Cup and against Fulham last Gameweek. Paquetá’s ownership sits just above one percent.

Tyrick Mitchell (Crystal Palace)

Crystal Palace started their good fixture run with a clean sheet and victory over Leicester last Gameweek. Tyrick Mitchell (4.8m) should be considered by FPL managers who want a differential in the Crystal Palace wing-back role to Daniel Muñoz (4.8m).

Murillo (Nottingham Forest)

Murillo (4.6m) provides the cheapest avenue into Nottingham Forest’s defence and could be a differential due to not only his attacking threat in set-pieces, but his occasional long range attempts on goal. Murillo’s ownership remains below five percent.

Harry Wilson (Fulham)

Harry Wilson (5.2m) has three returns in his last four games, scoring twice and getting an assist. Wilson was unlucky to not get a return against West Ham where Fulham over 20 shots. Wilson could get back to returning points against Leicester this Gameweek.

Captaincy Options

Chris Wood (6.9m) will be a very popular captaincy choice this Gameweek after breaching Liverpool’s defence to make it three goals in three games. Wood faces a bottom of the league Southampton that have conceded eight goals in their last two.

Alexander Isak (9.4m) is the most in-form player in the league at the moment and it will be hard for FPL managers to ignore him for captaincy this Gameweek. Isak delivered two goals and an assist against Wolves last Gameweek.

Cole Palmer (11.4m) made it back-to-back ten point returns after his composed goal against Bournemouth. Palmer faces a Wolves side that conceded three in their last away game at Newcastle.
