Players To Pick

João Pedro (Brighton & Hove Albion)

Since returning from injury João Pedro (5.7m) has earned back-to-back double point hauls by getting a goal and an assist in each game, despite not playing a full 90 minutes in each game. Pedro has been a standout player for the Seagulls this season with four goals and two assists in six appearances and will carry a big threat against bottom of the league Southampton.

Pedro Porro (Spurs)

Pedro Porro (5.5m) was the surprise performer last Gameweek, scoring a goal and keeping a clean sheet against Manchester City to earn 14 points. FPL managers were not expecting Porro to keep a clean sheet in a makeshift Spurs defence. However, managers were reminded of Porro’s attacking capabilities.

Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea)

Nicolas Jackson (8.0m) is playing his best football in a Chelsea shirt at this moment. Jackson scored and earned an assist against Leicester City last Gameweek. Chelsea face an Aston Villa side in a bad run of form and Jackson could capitalise from this.

James Maddison (Spurs)

James Maddison (7.6m) provided a man-of-the-match performance against Manchester City last Gameweek, providing two goals. Spurs face a Fulham side who conceded four in the last game, while Spurs are heading into game after scoring four against Manchester City.

Differentials

Martin Ødegaard (Arsenal)

Arsenal look like their getting their mojo back after the return of Martin Ødegaard (8.2m). The Norwegian provided an assist in both games against Nottingham Forest and Chelsea. The Arsenal midfielder links up well with his teammates and will be looking to have a similar impact this Gameweek against West Ham.

Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton & Hove Albion)

Kaoru Mitoma (6.4m) scored against Bournemouth last Gameweek and was a constant threat on the wing. If FPL managers want to double up with Pedro, Mitoma is a solid pick with an ownership of only six percent.

Pervis Estupiñán (Brighton & Hove Albion)

Brighton have a great run of fixtures, so FPL managers should not overlook adding their defenders to their teams. Pervis Estupiñán (5.0m) has been a very reliable asset in recent seasons, so if he could recapture that form, he could provide great value for managers.

Amad Diallo (Manchester United)

Amad Diallo (4.9m) offers a cheap and valuable entry into Manchester United’s team. Diallo thrived in the wing-back role in Ruben Anorim’s first game in charge by providing an assist after a brilliant run. Diallo’s ownership is only 3.5%.

Captaincy Options

Mohamed Salah (13.1m) yet again did not disappoint FPL managers with two goals against Southampton last Gameweek. Salah faces a Manchester City side who are vulnerable in defence. Manchester City have kept just two clean sheets ahead of their trip to Anfield.

Bukayo Saka (10.2m) recorded a double-digit point haul against Nottingham Forest last Gameweek and scored and assisted against Sporting in the Champions League. Saka is in great form ahead of Arsenal’s game against West Ham.

Cole Palmer (10.9m) was unfortunate to not score against Leicester City and will be looking to get back amongst the goals against a struggling Aston Villa. Palmer has returned in every home fixture except against Manchester City and Arsenal.
